Alumni Meet on 29th December 2007

The alumni meet was successful with a very good participation from Alumni. Nearly 200 Alumni have attended the meet.

Some Highlights

•  Dr. D.N.Rao, General Secretary, Vignan jyothi has presided over the meeting.

•  Dr. K. Vizaya Kumar, Principal, VNR VJIET briefed about the latest developments in the college and the need for the Alumni's continuous interaction with the college to add value to themselves and the college.
  

• Sri, A.S.N. Murthy, Vice President, Nava Bharat ventures has given a valuable lecture on Entrepreneurship

• Sri. Krishna Koneru, Vice President, Corporate Group, Satyam has provided an insight on the Knowledge workers and the Opportunities for Business
  
  
• Smt. Devi Aparna Kavuri, Group Head SN SBU, Wipro Technologies has outlined on the growing Engineering Services and on New Development in Technologies and Opportunities
  
  
• Sri. C.V. Rao, Chief Administrator, Vignan jyothi, took us through a journey of the development of the college from the nascent stage to the current and the future vision.

• Mr. Harish, Secretary VNR  VJIET Alumni Association,  has provided the updates from the Alumni Association.

• After Lunch, followed by General body meeting, it was proposed to register the Alumni Association. The draft of the Memorandom of Articles, objectives, mission of the Alumni Association will be published on the website for further discussion by all the Alumni.

• The VNR VJIET Music club entertained all by their enthralling performance. Some of the Alumni including Prashanth have sung and cherished old memories.

• A Humorous skit and dance performances by the current students made everyone stuck to their seats and clap.
